Bleachers for Indoor Sports
Spectators should be provided a place for them to properly and conveniently sit down as they watch a sports competition. That is why most stadiums and gymnasium have bleachers. While outdoor venues may work with wooden benches or concrete bleachers, indoor setting oftentimes requires a different type of seat design and material.
Many roof-covered venues are equipped with several rows of chairs that are either removable or fixed to horizontal iron bars. Usually, these chairs are made of synthetic materials and cast iron. They are more ideal for indoor settings because the heat of the sun could wear them down easily should they be put outside.
A game match can take a long time to finish, and the whole event can push through successively throughout the day. Sitting on poorly designed seats can be a nuisance to many onlookers, not to mention stressful. That is why many furniture manufacturers redesigned bleachers by taking into account the comfort of sitting. As a result, modern bleachers today have seats that are contoured and flexible to support user’s body and weight.
